Colvic Sunquest 34, 1990, powered by twin Volvo AQAD31A 130hp diesels, surveyed in October 2018 and upgraded by present owners including new windows and flybridge screen. Fully equipped with HEATING, BOW THRUSTER, ELECTRIC WINDLASS & 2 Raymarine Hybrid Touch PLOTTERS. "Samphire" really needs to be seen to be appreciated!
MECHANICAL
Twin Volvo Penta AQAD31A 130hp inboard diesel engines with outdrives. Recent engine services in 2022 and 2023. Bennett trim tabs (new 2020). Bilge blower. Stainless steel fuel tank of around 576 litres. Cruising speed is around 12 knots.
BOWTHRUSTER
Vetus bowthruster with bluetooth remote control.
ELECTRICAL
12v battery system with full set of new batteries installed in 2023 - 2 x 115ah leisure battery, 2 x 110ah heavy duty start battery, 100ah Bow thruster battery. 240v shore power with Victron battery charger and inverter. 13 Amp sockets throughout. 175W Solar panel.
NAVIGATION
Silva compass, Clipper echo sounder and log, Standard Horizon GX13 DSC VHF radio, Raymarine ST600T autopilot with controls at upper and lower helm positions, Raymarine Hybrid Touch plotters at both helm positions, AIS receiver, navigation lights.
SAFETY
Auto electric bilge pump, fire extinguishers, fire blanket.
DECK GEAR
Stainless steel pulpit and rails, bathing platform with gate to cockpit, steps to flybridge, folding radar arch, access to both engines, sliding door to saloon. Cockpit cover and flybridge cover in black. Bruce main anchor with chain, electric anchor windlass with foot pressure control on foredeck and controls at both helms. Windscreen wipers. Mooring warps and fenders with custom made stainless steel fender baskets.
DOMESTIC
Eberspacher diesel hot air heating system. Her galley has a 2 burner gas hob, Thetford gas oven & grill, microwave, pressure hot and cold water supply to stainless steel sink , Waeco 12v/240v refrigerator. Stainless steel water tank. She has two heads compartments, one with electric toilet and one has a sea toilet. one shower with hot and cold water. Hot water via 240v immersion heater or heated via engine. Grey fabric upholstery.
ACCOMMODATION
5 berths in 2 cabins plus saloon. Double cabin to starboard with large double berth. Forward cabin with double berth.

RECENT UPGRADES AND SERVICING
Spring 22
175W Solar panel installed to Radar Arch & wired to domestic batteries. This has proven very effective for a non-Marina mooring. Radar arch repainted, radar and anchor light refitted.
Engine service:
Remove exhaust manifold, and associated items have manifold welded and refit.
Refill with new antifreeze.
Remove oil cooler drill out drain bung and refit.
Inspect fuel filters for dirt ingress, all clean so did not replace.
Remove impellers and replace with new.
Change engine oil and filters.
Check belt tensions
Check air filters
Drain power trim fluid and replace with new.
Find external leak on trim system and rectify by tightening hose fitting into ram.
Inspect outdrive oil starboard oil good condition and replaced recently so did not replace. Port outdrive oil was emulsified found rope had been caught behind prop and damaged seal.
Cut anode off remove prop shaft housing and press prop off.
Refill outdrive with new oil.
Replace anodes behind props clean transom shield anodes, replace trim tab anodes.
Grease prop shafts and refit props.
Check for no leaks on launch, run engines up to temperature and check for coolant leaks from port engine.
Antifoul applied and minor hull touch up works completed
Winter 22
New smaller (Overnight) flybridge console cover made (only used twice so far).
Fly bridge (full are) and aft cockpit covers repaired and maintained.
Spring 23
Full set of new batteries installed with new wiring and new battery box fitted to house securely. Solar panel now also tops up engine batteries once domestic batteries are charged. (2 x 115ah leisure battery, 2 x 110ah heavy duty start battery, 100ah Bow thruster battery, Cable lugs, Twin core cable x 7m, 50mm Battery cable x5m, 70mm battery cable x2m, 25mm battery cable x3.5m, Battery terminals x10 4 way fuse box x1 Isolation bars x2)
Engine service:
replace anodes on trim rams for bigger anodes
change outdrive prop anodes
cleaned transom shield anodes
changed engine oil and filter, rectified calorifier leak, tightened pipe fittings and hose clips
change impellers
checked out drive oil found starboard drive to have emulsified oil, vacuum tested out drive found bung gasket to be leaking, changed gasket filled with clean oil vacuum tested again all ok.

REMARKS
"Samphire II" was purchased by her owner in 2018 and was professionally surveyed at the time (copy available). Full title documents exist including the original VAT invoice from Colvic. Her engines & drives have been serviced and updated regularly including bellows and trim tabs in 2020. She is a "super clean" example, just lifted ashore, antifouled and ready to launch!
