Description
New boat to order to your bespoke specification. The Interboat 17 is the smallest boat in the range and can be fitted with a 16 or 27 hp inboard shaft driven diesel engine. It has a fully sound proofed engine box in front of the helm position. Electric propulsion is also available for totally silent cruising. The 17 has fully upholstered seating for eight people and only weighs 800Kg so it can be placed on a trailer behind the family car.
Accommodation
From the bow an Interboat features an anchor locker set into the foredeck, aft of this are the moulded side decks with non-slip surrounding the cockpit.
The cockpit features two main seating areas, forward seating for approximately five people with good high backrests and comfortable base cushions. Beneath the seats are large stowage areas.
Moving aft the engine casing is amidships, this doubles as a superb table with a small stowage area beneath. There is also space here for a portable cooker, if required and a wash bowl.
To the rear of the boat there is a further seating area for three people in comfort and easy access to the steering and engine controls. Beneath the central seat is a further stowage area for spare warps and mooring strakes or life jackets.
The flooring of the Interboat 17 cockpit is moulded non-slip.
The rear deck of an Interboat features a couple of cleats and, if fitted, stowage for the sun bimini.
To cover the boat a sprayhood is fitted forward on a self supporting stainless steel frame. The sides and front of the sprayhood can be rolled up so the actual canopy becomes a forward sun bimini. To the rear a sturdy zip is fitted, to which a tonneau cover can be connected to protect the aft section of the boat when not in use.
