28ft wooden Smack Yacht, bought as an open boat from Portsmouth,1985.
REDUCED to £12,500
Testers Boatyard, Hollowshore, Kent, sold her on, as a "restoration project" to her present owner in 1986. Originally, she was a twin masted Lugger, built circa 1895.
It was decided that she would be re rigged to carry a Gaff Rig, A new rig was made, new spars and sails, and an engine was installed,
The Boatyard built her a deck and a simple coach roof over a cabin.
The restoration was completed, and she was back sailing in 2013.
Old surveys were made of her in 2014 and again 2018.
Afloat on a pontoon mooring, refitting and repainting underway.
She has been found to be a good sailing vessel and fast too.
She has won and been placed in local sailing matches.

using West epoxy system) this was done in 1998 by Chatham Dockyard.
