KEEL BOLTS AND ENGINE WILL BE CHECKED PROFESSIONALLY PROIR TO ANY SALE
One of the most popular cruising yachts, designed by Bill Dixon. This boat was launched in 1990 and can sleep 8 in comfort in 3 cabins and the saloon. The large aft cabin has a centreline double bed with access through the ensuite heads or through a cabin with 2 bunk beds.
The saloon has seating for 8, a full size navigation table, lots of storage, a galley and access to forepeak and forward heads. Great headroom throughout. On deck it has an in mast furling main sail and furling head sail, bimini, spray hood, solar panels, wind generator, granny rails and much more.
This is a very solid, reliable, comfortable, yacht which sails well, with plenty of space for long distance cruising and a great liveaboard boat with a centteljne bed knowing the owners cabin.
Although we have only owned this lovely boat for 5 years we have known her since 2007. We were liveaboards for 12 years but unfortunately our bodies are not what the were and we have had to move on to other adventures. When we were looking for a Moody 425 this was the boat we compared them too and we were lucky enough to purchase it. More photographs are available.
As with all boats the sun can be harsh and there has some deterioration to canvas work etc. We are proposing to replace the plastic windows when it is sold and also replace the horseshoe floats.
There are pros and construction in buying an older boat. She is a well proven boat but as with all ladies of certain age there are some minor cosmetic imperfections. 30 year olds have more blemishes than newborns, but they were born in a better era of boat building and are much better behaved.
