32ft Saunders and Roe, ex-Tow Tug for flying boats, 1935
Domino was used as a work boat up until 2008. Lines of this vessel are similar to a Nelson hull design. Built in 1935, by Saunders Roe Co. on the Isle of Wight, used to tow their Princess Flying Boat fleet. She was owned for a long while by a renowned Yacht Rigger from Cowes, Mr Harry Spencer. A 80ft engineless, wooden Thames Sailing Barge, 1881. Registered in Rochester, Kent. 1882. Built for carrying a cargo of bricks from Medway to the Thames. She crossed the Channel over to France and Holland, around the coast as far south as Southampton and Devonport. Re surveyed in dry dock June 2024, all was found to be in good order.
